Living as Light

Week One- April Prayer Meditation Challenge

Moving past fear and control into a place of faith is a serious feat. Often we get so held back in life because we think we will fail, we don’t feel worthy, the list goes on, etc… Instead of letting these thought processes restrict our lives, this week we will dive into praying for guidance. I have noticed that when “spirit” works through me, I don’t feel alone which makes it easier to let go of fear and control. Everyday for the next week I encourage you to invite something bigger than yourself (whatever you believe in) to show up in your life and help you. Then I ask you to be open so that you may see the signs that are being displayed throughout your day. This is exciting stuff!

The Prayer….

“May spirit guide my soul. I ask to release control and enter a state of faith. May you guide me along the path I am meant to serve. I promise to open my eyes and ears and heart to any guidance I shall receive. May your signs and synchronicities show up in my life. With you, I release all fears as I move forward. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

You can either set a timer (for at least 10 minutes) and repeatedly say the prayer above, leaving as much silent time as you wish. Or you can go here where I have a guided reiki infused prayer-mediation, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9a8nlcekgU

What to watch for throughout the week?!?!

We are asking for spirit to guide us. With that being said, we need to make sure we are open to their messages. Here are a few ways spirit communicates with me throughout the day or while sleeping….

The important thing here is to acknowledge the guidance and say thank you. DO NOT let your mind overthink. If you think it is a message you need to trust that. If you shut that off, you are basically saying you don’t have faith that what is happening is divine, hence less will appear. Believe it’s for your highest good and be open. Your not crazy, it’s beautiful!

I have a group and I want us to be able to share openly with each other and offer each other assistance and guidance. If you have not joined, it is never too late.

As my 5 year old always used to say, “Let’s do this baby!”,
